HOW TO UPLOAD VIDEOS TO YOUTUBE

1. Before uploading make sure your video is:

   1. Landscape - Either it should be filmed in landscape orientation (phone turned horizontally) or in your video software you upload to a landscape format. If it’s vertical, then YouTube wants to turn your video into a Short, which is difficult to view and slow down.

2. Navigate to YouTube.

3. In the upper right hand corner, click CREATE.

4. A menu will drop down, select the first option: Upload Video

5. You can either drag and drop the video from your finder window into the upload box or you can click “Select Files” and then navigate to your video that way.

6. Select your video and upload.

7. Under the Details tab you can change the title and add a description if you want.

8. On the right hand side hover over the 2 rectangles below the video thumbnail and Click “Copy Video Link”

9. You must also scroll down and select “No, it’s not made for kids”

10. Under the Visibility tab select your video as “Unlisted”

    1. Unlisted prevents your video from showing up in other people’s searches. Only people with the link will be able to view your video.

11. Click Save.

12. Then go to your Canine Fitness Training Log and navigate to the HW Log Tab.

13. You can then paste the link under the YouTube Link column.
